Logos are an essential part of business and brand development, it is a visual representative designed not only to associate your company but to also convey a message to consumers & other businesses alike. I have often been asked why myself and other designers charge so much for logos. The truth of the matter is it takes a lot more than time at the drawing board to get it right. Much of the time and effort goes into understanding the business, the related industry & a multitude of other factors to bring about that bit of simple complexity you see in front of you whenever you purchase a product or enter into a business for services.

This is more of a visual walk-through of the full logo design process, typically this is done for larger companies that have departments that need guidelines on how their logos are to be used for specific materials. The average small company / client only needs a small fraction of what you see here to get going. Still, from their perspective it’s insight into what actually goes into the costs of logo development.
