Textual Gratification

Being a self-taught designer, I have come to appreciate the art and importance of typography over the last few years. As such, I have been trying my best to gather resources and examples laying out the methods and possibilities of typography usage across mediums. One such resource is Tripwire Magazine, an online magazine & community that provides content related to graphic design and inspiration. There are indeed many ways in which designers can use typography to deliver a message and even though humans use many years in school learning to read and write images are still making larger and more instant impact on us and affect our emotions easier than plain text.
